Morning Joe on Romney retiring

Romney: "A very large portion of my Party really doesn't believe in the Constitution." 

On Mike Pence: "No one has been more willing [...] to ascribe God's will to things that are ungodly."

On Hawley and Cruz: "There they were on January 6 making a calculation to put politics above the interest of American democracy and the US Constitution."

Joe also relates the story that on January 2 Romney was warned by King that violence was coming on January 6. Romney immediately reported it to McConnell and the latter did nothing about it.

Trumpler has openly admitted he wants to terminate the Constitution. And many in his own Party are just fine with it. It is obvious why Romney is retiring from the Party that "really doesn't believe in the Constitution."
