Willis responds to weasel Meadow's federal escape hatch

Meadows is seeking to move his case to federal court. Jones, the federal judge, asked if even one of Meadows acts was within his scope of duties would that be sufficient to move his prosecution to federal court. Willis responded that none of Meadows legitimate job duties are being charged, only those acts that fall outside of that scope. Plus another requirement for removal from state court requires a federal defense that can defeat the charge. And Meadows has provided no defenses in that regard. This should be a slam dunk.
