New Rule: Truth Matters

Maher dislikes when both sides ignore the truth to support their agenda. And yes, the left does it too. But he seems obsessed when the left does it and in that regard it's too much like false equivalence. For example, he compares believing a lie that led to a violent coup with some comedian lying to enhance his routine. Still, in the particular case he focuses on in this clip it is an accurate criticism but there's no reasonable comparison.
