And the other past remedy is temporary governmental price controls. Yes, it is antithetical to 'free enterprise.' But when enterprise is no longer governed by competition but by a conspiring oligopoly then it's time to make some enforced adjustments to bring business back in line with its original constraints.
The question for both is: Does Biden have the requisite backbone?
