According to this US data, there has been 110,848,567 COVID cases reported with 1,195,303 deaths. There are 1,087,744 active cases.
According to the most recent CDC data, in the US 25.6% of adults who have ever had COVID have experienced long COVID (28,377,233). 9.5% of adults who ever had COVID are currently experiencing long COVID (10,530,614).
For these families COVID is far from over. To pretend otherwise is denial at best.
