Supreme Court avoids insurrection altogether

As the court of last resort it is their duty to face the fact of Trumpler's insurrection and make clear section 3 of the 14th Amendment. But they refused to deal with it. So they, including the liberals, hemmed and hawed looking for a way out of that duty. If anything, they just added to the growing evidence that the court is not only illegitimate but has perhaps outlived its usefulness.
