She provides a far more nuanced analysis of it than we're getting from the proponents of the ban. She acknowledges that there is a problem with foreign-owned media in the US, but the proposed Bill doesn't comprehensively address that problem. In fact it might exacerbate it. She also notes that some domestic-owned media contributes to the same problem of negative and biased influence.  She calls for much more detailed and specific legislation that will actually address the issues.
