Fact checking GrieVance's BS attack on Walz's military service

GrieVance claimed Walz quit the National Guard to get out of deploying to Iraq. The facts are that after 24 years in the Guard, Walz retired 2 months before his unit even got those orders. Walz put in for that retirement several months before that.

GrieVance is claiming that Walz lied by saying he served in combat. Walz said: "We can make sure that those weapons of war, that I carried in war, is the only place where those weapons are at." While Walz did not see combat, he was deployed to Italy in 2003 in support of the US war in Afghanistan. A campaign spokesperson clarified: "In his 24 years of service, the Governor carried, fired and trained others to use weapons of war innumerable times."

Btw, GrieVance never saw combat either. Not that the facts ever stopped Trumpler or his TrumPets from their lying BS.
