Some of which are US citizens. And many just because they are exercising their Constitutional right to criticize the government. Thom provides examples. He sees TrumPus following the fascist playbooks of Putin and Xi, including taking territory by force, controlling the courts and media, rigging elections, militarizing a police force, disappearing those who dissent, and martial law.
The US isn't yet as bad as the other two. But make no mistake that is exactly the plan. We the people need to fight like our democracy and lives depend on it because they do. Thom advises us to do the following while we still can.
— Support independent, progressive media.
— Show up for protests in your area.
— Post your opinions on social media.
— Share this and other like-minded newsletters.
— Reach out to your elected officials from the federal to state to local levels.
— Run for office yourself.
— Join your local Democratic Party and volunteer as a precinct committeeperson.
— Wake up everybody you know.
It is now or very possibly never.
