Outside counsel to the court said that the DOJ's goal of dismissing his case without prejudice is tantamount to "hanging the sword of Damocles over Adams' head." That is, corruptly forcing Adams to comply with their demands that he do what they want regarding immigration. Now the judge will determine whether to allow the dismissal of the criminal case in this crooked bargain.
