They didn't interpret the Constitution

They wrote the law and overstepped their authority. Which is supposed be be Congress' job granted by the Constitution, not theirs. In doing so they assumed the Court itself has immunity. But again, Congress has the authority to amend the Constitution (with State legislative ratification) to limit their power. Which hopefully they will do someday after the fascists are defeated.
