This was her reply when asked why she didn't back Hong in Wisconsin. She admitted that the early days of woke went to extremes. And yet she also admitted that Hong backed off of those earlier woke responses.
This video explores that AOC is also backing off of them too because of future ambitions, like the Senate or even the Presidency. So Hong is the sacrificial lamb in the way of that ambition. But is that ambition really hurt by such association? Especially in light of one of the main reasons we've supported her: The ability to strongly fight against the status quo. Yet here she goes using a status quo strategy and abandoning a comrade in values.
