It's the corporation or business for not paying you what you're worth. Raising the minimum wage to a bare living wage creates the floor, not the ceiling. Demand your employer pay you a fair wage based on your experience and performance. If they do not it's their fault, not your neighbor getting raised to the point of being able to live another day.
