It's been gutted to the point of complete ineffectiveness, including and especially the climate provisions. Progressives have to get over the guilt being laid on them by their own Party to take it or leave it. They have nothing to feel guilty about in standing strong to defend we the people and the environment. Rather they should be proud for doing so and they will be repaid by voters.
Playing hardball will reinforce prog credibility that they are willing to fight for we the people. Manikin and Sinema desperately want the infrastructure bill to repay their corporate bribes, so keep leveraging it. Holding firm puts the blame for failure directly on them, and pressures Biden and Dem leadership to put up or shut up on the people's agenda. Make them responsible for not passing BBB because that's where it truly lies.
