They keep saying it was appropriate to negotiate with the other side. Compromise is how politics works in a civilized society. Yet they leave out that in this case the other side are terrorists and civilized societies do not negotiate with terrorists. Those who do are collaborators trading on other people's health, lives and welfare for their own privilege.
