Van Jones insight into Trumpler's popularity

Given all the recent polling showing Trumpler ahead of Biden, Van Jones nails the reason why. Trumpler is belligerently fighting back against all charges and in so doing at least appears strong. And for many Americans facing uncertainty from multiple crises in their personal lives, someone who appears strong is comforting and reassuring. Whereas Biden and Democrats, while generally are right on the issues, right on the law and right on the facts, appear overly intellectual and dismissive of a fighting spirit.* "A lot of people would rather have strong and wrong than weak and right."

* And when some Democrats do fight passionately, like Bernie, AOC, Tlaib etc., they are shunned by Party leaders thereby adding to this image.
