Continuing this post where Cannon ordered DOJ to provide jury instructions assuming the Presidential Records Act, DOJ filed a response. Therein DOJ said such instructions are unlawful and demands Cannon to address whether she intends to actually provide such instructions to the jury. If so the DOJ will immediately file an appeal to compel Cannon to follow the law. While not stating it, DOJ implied it would also ask the Appeals Court for her removal.
