Recall AOC saying that Party elites and donors didn't want Harris to be their nominee. O'Donnell confirmed it. And this analysis explained why, that those elites and donors were mightily pissed because Harris wasn't their lackey.
Now we have megadonor John Morgan also confirming it. Since Obama and Pelosi were both instrumental in pushing Biden out, he claims Biden then endorsing Harris was a big f___ you to both of them. That's why both hedged their Harris endorsement with talk of letting the convention decide the nominee. Unfortunately for them Harris' momentum rose quickly and she got enough delegates to clinch it, thereby foiling the plot to insert a corporate lackey for the job.
The problem was that Harris then turned away from her progressive roots and Biden's accomplishments, trying to appease the corporate donors and Party apparatus. But we the people saw through it and rightly determined that the Dem Party was rotten to the core. Once again we saw that their infighting and suppression of popular progressive values for corporate interests on display, with we the people a mere afterthought to be manipulated and discarded.
As I noted here, Bernie's postmortem and recommendation to return to our progressive roots is our only chance to win back the working class. And we need to do that with a genuine candidate with a record of fighting for us. And one who is both young enough and well-known as that champion. AOC is the spearhead to lead the Party to take back the White House and Congress. Anything less and we the people will continue to tell that Party to f___ off and die.
