And that's why they hate it. 

DEI was created because for far too long jobs went to white males regardless of whether they were the best qualified. In many cases there were not. So DEI created a system whereby the best qualified, regardless of race or gender, got opportunities to compete fairly. And fairness is the furthest thing in the minds of the white males who want to continue to dominate regardless of their qualifications.
